The Palestinian Central Council (PCC), which met in Ramallah over two days, decided on Monday to end all commitments in the agreements the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) has signed with Israel, to end security coordination and to revoke the Paris Economic Protocols which govern the economic cooperation with Israel.
Such moves mean the end of all peace protocols with Israel and the complete collapse of the Palestinian Authority (PA). They also suspended their recognition of the state of Israel until it recognizes the non-existent state of Palestine on the June 1967 borders with the eastern portion of Jerusalem as its capital. By way of background, “Palestine” never existed within the 1967 “borders,” which are in reality boundaries. Jordan occupied these areas for 19 years prior to their occupation by the IDF in the 1967 Six Day War which Jordan, Syria and Egypt provoked.
